The co-founders of Compete had a clear vision for a product that could reshape the future of HR. They came with a business plan and early adopters from day one, and the only thing that was missing was a platform that meets the industry standards. Together we dove into product research, product specifications and product design. Working in a fast paced agile environment and an intensive workflow, led to platform that is now used by over 200 leading tech companies.
Racing Against the Clock
Our journey with Compete began with a big challenge: making a whole SaaS platform in a really short time. We understood the urgency and worked hard to build the platform with quality, even under pressure. This showed how committed we are to deliver when it matters most.
Making Complex Things Simple
The end-users of the Compete platform aren’t experts in analyzing data. We had to take complicated data and make it easy for them to understand. We did this by designing smart and simple ways for users to interact with the data. This made data analysis easy for everyone, no matter what their background is.
Adding More Value, Starting Small
At the beginning, the Compete platform had only a few features, which wasn't enough for a full-fledged platform, so we came up with a clever plan. We used the existing data and technical foundation to create more useful features. This way, users got more value right from the start. We showed how we can make the most out of limited resources.
With Compete, you can view benchmark data of the compensation and benefits for a specific role, compared to data points in your organization. Users can explore equity data for new hires across a range of roles, search for benefits in various categories, and improve hiring and employee satisfaction.
The platform gives users an opportunity to identify employess who are underpaid and at high risk for leaving the organization, and adjust their compensation package based on benchmark data.
